Walker for Bradley

WGN Radio is reporting that the Cubs are working on a deal with the Dodgers.  The Cubs will send Todd Walker to the Dodgers for Milton Bradley.  This makes sense from the Cubs' perspective, but I'm not sure how this helps the Dodgers, as they already have Jeff Kent.  I suppose it's possible that they might move Kent or Walker to 3rd base.  I like this move from the Cubs perspective.  It could turn out to be a disaster, but it's worth the risk IMO.  Furthermore Dusty's biggest strength is his supposed ability to get the best out of his players, so Bradley should be a good test for him.

Sorry
Been reading the site all day and then came back after dinner.  Scanned the diaries and thought I didn't see anything new.

Yours...
is from a different source though.

The other poster heard the rumor from "that rumor site."

Maybe...
... WGN Radio people have been reading "that rumor site"!

WGN...
...seems to be a little less reticent to report on rumors than either Bruce Levine or George Offman from the Score.

WGN
is in fact a more reliable source than Levine.  They don't seem to report anything that isn't pretty well confirmed.

Either Kent or Walker could move to first.  I suppose Walker could move to third, but they'd be asking for trouble with that.

If we do get Bradley,
who is going to play right field? Will it be Bradley or Corey or someone else.

That depends on...
... whether the Cubs would still pursue Pierre, I think.

It won't be Corey. I am absolutely certain he'll be traded somewhere.
