Around SBN: Dissecting Nick Diaz's Positive Drug Test

Channel surfing last night...

I ran across the "Happy Days" reunion show. Pretty good stuff, and then they started talking about the Happy Days All-Star Softball team (on which apparently "The Fonz" was quite a good pitcher). Then, this morning I found these:

Holy cow! 50 cent programs... and Johnnie Kerr at 1st, Jack Brickhouse in the dugout, and Arne Harris behind the plate!

So... Al, where were you on August 17, 1979?

Well...
... I looked. I wasn't at that game; it was on a Friday.

I didn't start going every day till 1997; before that it was about 50 per year. I had a day job in those days; probably, I was at work.

The Cubs won that day 9-6 over the Padres. No word on who won the celebrity game.

wrigley exterior
Sorry to age some of the people on the board, but I have to ask this. The exterior of Wrigley looks different in the link above. Could someone please explain when they made the changes and why?

The link you're talking about...
... is the second one on the list.

They re-did the roof during the 1980's... it's a lighter color than it was at the time that photo was taken.

Oh, and there are a few lights on top now too.

Otherwise, it's the same.

not only ...
... the color and lights.  but also the smoking/bar/socializing area ...

thanks
i definitely was referring to the coloring, though the lack of lights definitely changes things too.  thanks for the info.
