Bruce Sutter
I'm Tired of the Prior/Tejada Debate ....
Cubs.com has an article about Bruce Sutter's Hall of Fame chances.
I have great memories of watching old Bruce make great hitters look just silly. And I was sorry when he left the Cubs.
What does everyone think? Should Sutter be in the Hall of Fame?

Absolutely...
In fact, it can be argued that the way Herman Franks started using him, and his effectiveness thereof, defined the role of closer as we now understand it.
For a couple of years -- his first two with the Cubs -- his splitter (which a lot of hitters had never before seen) was nearly unhittable.
He'd get my vote.
