In all honesty, I'd rather see Zambrano go then Prior.  Would hate to see either one, don't get me wrong.  Prior just needs to stay healthy which is a concern.

If I HAD to give up one of them...

.. it'd be Prior.

I think Z is going to be one of the dominant pitchers in baseball for the next decade.

Now, I don't really want to give up either, but if I HAD to choose one to trade, it'd be Prior.

Offman...

...from WSCR is reporting the Reds are asking for Mitre and Ricky Nolasco for Kearns. If it's true then Hendry can't pass up on that.

It makes sense though...

...the Reds are pitching starved and they have a surplus of outfielders. Offman's reporting this from the winter meetings.

By the way

Sergio Mitre is doing fine in the Mexican Winter League; he joined the largest market team in the league and was given a spot in the rotation.

According to the Chicago Tribune: "The Oakland A's are 32-0 when they have scored more runs than their opponents.
