Buehrle is full of !@#$

Anyone read this (http://www.suntimes dot com/output/sox/cst-spt-ssep17.html) replace the dot with a .

I think Mr. Buehrle is calling out Mr. Maddux.  Buehrle would be lucky to clean Maddux's jock strap let alone have as a great a career as he has had.

Buehrle should focus on his White Sox, who are starting to come back down to earth.  They will be lucky to win their division, a statistical correction is in their future soon.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of SB Nation or Al Yellon, editor-in-chief (unless it's a FanPost posted by Al). FanPost opinions are valued expressions of opinion by passionate and knowledgeable baseball fans.

Just read that
He's obviously talking about Maddux and a lot of players actually believe this to be true of Greg, but unlike career year Buerhle, do not say so publicly. Like you though, I wonder who does this guy think he is? Calling out a future Hall Of Famer shows zero respect and should not be tolerated by the Cubs. If the Cubs face Buerhle, I truly believe they should drill whoever it is that will be catching him, in the ribs. Players now a days, have big mouths and need to be reminded that there is no room for that stuff in Baseball. Consequences for actions are very much a part of Baseball, however.

who?
"It wasn't me," Maddux said. "Who's Mark Buehrle?"

that pretty much sums it up.

Good for Maddux!
He always knows what to say -- and how to say it.

White Sox do not know their role
they think they are world beaters and we haven't even reached the all-star break.

If the trip and fall in the second half not only will they expose themselves to be the losers they are but they will not earn any sympathy from the fans since most of the players are arrogant "bleeps" like their manager.

In Dusty I trust, All he does is win, I can deal with that.

There is something wrong with that franchise...
... and it starts from ownership on down. They walk around with a chip on their shoulders every day, blaming the Cubs for all their problems, when they should really look in the mirror.

They don't seem to be enjoying their great first two months very much, do they? And you're right, if they suddenly collapse, it is going to be frighteningly bad.

Watch them try to blame the Cubs. Well, we can help by sweeping them next weekend.

enjoying themselves?
Wow, from the games I've seen this season, they seem to be enjoying themselves quite a bit.  Not sure where you're coming from with that one.

Where I'm coming from is...
... crap like Buehrle's comment. Why would he care what a Cub is doing? Why would he even think something like this when they're having a great season?

It's that way through that entire organization.
