There has been a lot of talk about this during the week, and this new World Cup like event is interesting.  But I still don't really like it.  I was reading and article with Gary Sheffields comments at http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/3756500 and I agree with him.

I don't like the idea of Big Z going to pitch for venezuela or Aramis playing for the Dominican.  Especially because it is going to happen during Spring Training.  Players could get hurt, because some injuries can't be prevented even if they monitor the players.  I like what is trying to be accomplished, but I'm just not really for it.  I guess we will have to wait and hope no Cubs goes on the rosters.
