Nomar at Peoria

I'm very optimistic that Nomar is going to be back to the Cubs soon.  I listened to the game today online and he was good.  Nomar batted in the 2 spot.

His AB's

1-Flyout to medium right
2-Flyout to center
3-Popped up(this was with a chance to drive in a run)
4- 2-run RBI single to right center

He was also involved in a 6-3 DP.  The announcer said he jumped over the runner coming in and that it was a good test for Nomar and sounded very excited about it, so I'm hoping that it was.  He also made another play at SS successfully.  Nomar sounds healthy to me, and I hope he keeps progressing.

The Chiefs won the game 7-3.  I was glad I listened to the game, not only because of Nomar, but because of the young Eric Patterson.  He is someone to be excited about.  I know the same thing is said about many others, but he has the highest average in their league and now is on a 10-game hit streak.  He stole a base, had two hits and 2 RBIs.  Not only that, but he ran fast from first to get Nomar his second RBI on his hit.  He sounds great to me.
