I'm one of the 20-ish fans who sat in front of you yesterday and came to visit your site. We are frequent Cub Game attendee's and enjoyed listening to your many, many, little known facts of the game and were amazed at the baseball knowledge of two kids you were with. However, I was dissapointed with them yelling "you suck" to some of the players. If there is one thing I don't enjoy about going to various Chicago sports games (and I go to a lot) it's the booing by their own fans. Looks like they start 'em young! When I go to games with out of towners we Chicagoans like to boast about our fan loyalty etc...and then they see us booing our own team. Sports is such a mental game and booing and yelling you suck can't give anyone a boost.
Oh, and although I understand your point about Michael Barret, I enjoy his work ethic and team pride. There is a lot to be said for a catcher who can call a great game but also a lot to be said about a guy who consistantly grinds it out! Every team needs one of those.
