Open Thread: Cubs vs. Astros, Wednesday 8/17

Ten days short of one year ago, Roy Oswalt faced the Cubs at Wrigley Field. This was the famous game in which Michael Barrett confronted Oswalt while Oswalt was batting, keeping up a feud that had started five days earlier in Houston when Oswalt plunked Barrett with a pitch.

On August 27, 2004, the Astros had finally passed .500, but were still six games out of the wild-card lead.

Z has not faced Houston this year and is 4-4 lifetime with a 3.26 ERA and is coming off a dominant performance in his last start against the Cardinals.

That's it! Off to the Juice Box.
