Yes, it was that hot yesterday afternoon. I had seats 6 rows from the field down the right field line. Thank god the field isn't astroturf or fieldturf.
Prior was done in by the longball. Macias didn't seem to know where the wall was on the grand slam or a play he made later in the game. If he knew where he is, he could have timed his jump to make that catch to take away that grand slam. I've seen a number of Phillies game at Citzen's Bank Park where outfielders have taken homeball balls away from that short fence in centerfield.
What I saw the past 3 games were two .500 teams struggling to stay in the wild card race. There are 2 full months left, but the Cubs better get it in gear if they are going to stay in the wild card race.
I'm now 2-4 in person seeing the Cubs in 2005. 1-2 to start the season in Arizona and 1-2 in Philadelphia. Hopefully, I will see more wins than losses when I'm in Chicago at the end of month for the Florida series, 8/26-8/28 and Monday night Dodgers game, 8/29. On that note, I have extra tickets for all four of those games. All singles. A single terrance box seat for 8/26. A single dugout box seat and single field box seat for 8/27. A single upper deck reserved seat for 8/28 and an extra bleacher seat for 8/29. If anyone is interested just leave me a note. All the tickets are at will-call so I have to pick them up there and would have to meet you somewhere outside Wrigley. All I'm asking for is face value for the tickets.
