Poll: Next year's douple play combo?

With Ronny Cedeno playing second base during the upcoming winter-ball season, the Cubs could find themselves with a number of options for filling the middle of the infield next year. Hence, the poll.

Keep in mind, I'm asking you to pick who you would like to see, not predict what you think the Cubs are going to do. So, this is kind of a fantasy poll, but based on reality (which is why you won't see Tejada - Soriano as a choice).

If you picked "Other" for SS or 2B, add a comment stating who you would like to see.

I don't think
...that Dusty believes in "set" lineups. He has used so many this season that it's no wonder the Cubs can't put it together.
It's obvious to a lot of folks that Ronny Cedeno is a fine shortstop and a good hitter. And he should be playing EVERY GAME!
There is no rhyme or reason why Dusty does what he does, as we ALL know, so why would there ever be a double play combo who would play regularly for this team?
  Even in 2006?

Dusty
does believe in set lineups.  He said about the middle of the season, that by then you should know what your lineup is and not be mixing and matching.  He had so many parts that weren't fixed that I didn't expect him to have a fixed lineup.  There is no leadoff guy and there is no set outfield.  There are young guys he doesn't know, and moves them around too.

That is why next year, one of the things I want is a lineup that we don't have to guess.  I don't like platoons anywhere.  I want the team to have defined roles.  A lot less guessing.  Jim Hendry should do that, so that all Dusty has to do is manage without all the extra decisions. The biggest problems and possible holes for next year, IMO, are center field and some bullpen slots.  Everything else should be set and even those possible holes should be set, and if they aren't Hendry is in big trouble.

Cubbie blue always sPaRkLeS in my eyes.

Furcal and Walker
Walker is a great #2 hitter, Furcal can lead off.
Walker isn't always pretty at 2B, but he is compotent and he gets the job done.

A close second would be furcal at SS and cedeno at 2b.
