This weekend is the Iowa Cubs fan fest. The guest speaker for the kickoff luncheon was Tony LaRussa. For those that go way back he was a player in Des Moines and also managed the Iowa Oaks. The comment I know everyone will like is that the Cubs-Cardinals series is the best rivalry in baseball, much more true than the Red Sox-Yankees. Do you agree? Also, what kind of manager is LaRussa? Has he benefitted from good players or does his managing style put him in a class by himself?
