Friday Non-Baseball Diary

Its Friday, which means very little is getting accomplished at offices across America, and even less in mine where the server completely fried and we are waiting for our backup files.

So in my need for distraction I humbly submit this Non-Baseball Diary, sorry Julie, I just couldn't wait.

Here's one of my favorite sites, Found!

And of course good luck to all the runners in Sunday's marathon.  I wish I could go cheer everyone on, but I'm not in town, plus I think its going to be cold.  Instead I'll sit at home and get the split times on my phone.  Much easier to be a spectator when you don't actually have to stand outside and freeze.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of SB Nation or Al Yellon, managing editor (unless it's a FanPost posted by Al). FanPost opinions are valued expressions of opinion by passionate and knowledgeable baseball fans.

Finished
I got 17.5-of-20 legitimately, then was able to poke around the net and find the missing answers. The half was the one movie that I couldn't remember the name of, then wouldn't have spelled correctly. The other two were not intuitive and I probably would have never gotten them.

I will post the answers in another blog to remove the possibility of spoilers.

You're so obnoxious
You're either insulting everyone here over the age of 25 by calling them 'old' or whining all the time about how tough you have it.

Most of these movies are either classics that EVERYONE has seen, or very recent.

Such a shame.  I already watched some stuff of ondemand.  It's worth the extra five or so bucks a month, they change movies every couple weeks and there's at least one thing worth watching.  I missed Survivor last night and CBS puts it on for free now, so I watched that.

L O S T
SPOILERS ABOUT THIS WEEK'S EPISODE OF LOST

-------------------

I really liked it, although I hope Eko is okay.  It looked like he just died, but I hope that isn't the case.  The flashbacks were great, I was hoping it would lead to a more action filled climax, but it looks like it's definitely building to something that will be revealed in the next Locke centric episode.  The preview for next week was incredible.  I hope they aren't hurting Sawyer though, he's one of my fav characters.  I don't think there will be a rescue attempt until late in the season at the earliest.  Only time will tell though....

Kevin Williamson?  I think the last thing he did was that horrible movie Cursed (no, it's not about the Cubs, but werewolves).  Scream was great, Scream II was good, I Know What You Did Last Summer was good, and The Faculty was great.  Can't recall hearing any news about him lately.

I'd want to live on the LOST island with them.  It would be cool.  So what if there's a group of people that kidnap and/or kill them, plus that black fog monster.  It's still really cool and I don't see anything else topping it.

Plus, how many people can do something like that?  None as far as I know.  It just seems like to adventerous of a thing to pass up.
