Igawa to become third Rising Sun player posted.

Daisuke Matsuzaka
Akinori Iwamura

and now Kei Igawa (pitcher) will be posted.

Wasn't that one of the names the Cubs might have been looking at over there?

Igawa, who is still three years away from becoming a free agent, will be able to leave Japan's Hanshin Tigers and talk to MLB teams under the posting system.

Apparently I'm too stupid to fix my poll.
Didn't leave an option for no Japanese Players.

Let's just say I'm assuming we're getting Gyro.

And the fixing was good.
Haven't fully figured out the dit function yet.

Rebuttal
Grasshopper, snatch the pebble from my hand.  I voted no Japenese imports.

Bah, you realistic people sicken me...
Odds are you're right, and odds are good that any player the Cubs get is a bust, but hope springs eternal.

I say we get one
and it's Igawa.
And you can make book on that, missy.

Missy? I'm all dude!
I don't know much about Igawa, but I remember someone (Al?) commenting that he might be a good alternative to Gyro.

Igawa...
... has less notoriety than Matsuzaka, but decent stats, is only a year older and is lefthanded. He might be a decent alternative, and would definitely come far cheaper.
