Bears vs. Jets Sunday Non Baseball Diary

Since nobody else is going to do it, I will.  As they mentioned over at Windy City Gridiron, after this and next week's games, hopefully people will stop questioning whether or not the Bears are "for real".

Uh, what else goes in these?  Ah, iPod top 5 I guess:
Tennessee Stud - Johnny Cash
Thing Thing - El Pus
Scientist - The Dandy Warhols
Cocaine - Eric Clapton
Vicarious - Tool

Julie, perhaps we're not doing so well without you.  No more trips for you!

Yeah!
Go Bears!

You forgot to put in an article from the Heckler.  We miss you, Julie!

I had never read The Lovely Bones before.  I'm reading it now for a project, and I must say it's one of the best books I have ever read.  It almost made cry. I don't know why I didn't read it before.  It's soo good.

Julie's in Kansas City, but Jessica's in Europe visiting London and Paris! I'm so jealous.

Ah, that's right
The Heckler and Onion articles.  I picked up the newest Onion book today, though.

Yeah we debated Kansas City in another thread.  London and Paris sounds much more exciting!  I've done a lot of traveling in the US, but not abroad.

I've also heard that about everyone who has ever read The Lovely Bones.

I have never been to Paris...
... but London is definitely a far more exciting and interesting place to visit than Kansas City.

It was really great
I walked around and took notes while I was there so I could tell you guys all about it. Too tired tonight, though. I'll do it tomorrow.

I was watching...
Bears Post Game on Comcast and they mentioned that first.

I stopped breathing for a sec, but I'm here now.

I'm scared for the Bears.
They won't win the whole thing like this, but they will get to try.

Brian Urlacher has an awesome smile.  I love it, and I love the way he plays.

The Colts lost!
I wanted them to lose.  They say they don't care about going undefeated, but I don't really believe that.  I think I would care.

Sparkles....
You're killing me!!! I'm a Jets fan from Indiana. And you just rooted for them both to lose! The Jets/Bears game was great, but you have to give it to my team. They held their own (being one of the worst defensive teams) against the best defensive teams.
By the way, my wife just read "The Lovely Bones" and she really like it too. The author's other book "Lucky", according to my wife, was not as good as "The Lovely Bones", but it was still good.

by fuzzycubfan on Nov 19, 2006 7:21 PM CST reply actions

I love the book.
I'm sorry your teams lost.

I'm not killing you. I don't even know how to play football.  It's all the Bears and Cowboys fault. :)
