Non-Baseball Diary: Michael Richards aka "Kramer" Loses It

Most of you probably already know this, and to tell you the truth I'm not quite sure why I am posting this except for the fact that I am stunned by it. I had the utmost respect for the guy, comedic genius IMO, but I have completely lost every ounce of it now. To make a long story short, during one of his stand up comedy shows on sunday night, he started yelling racial slurs at a couple of african-americans who were in the crowd that night. As you will imagine the "N" word was thrown around, along with comments such as ""Shut up you n***! Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a f------ fork up your a--."
At a loss for words... Here's the link for the video:

What an asshole.

GREAT SUCCESS!!!

You tube says this is inappropriate for me...
And I'm too lazy to log in.

But it does seem like 'ol Kramer hasn't taken his descent into irrelevance well at all.

In fact, after seeing Jason Alexander freak out on Larry David about being typecast as George I think I'm fine with not knowing the cast of beloved television shows as the people they truly are.

Jason Alexander..
He's a talent though... Hard to be casted for something new when you were so perfect in a previous role that everybody sees you as that person forever. No matter how hard he tries, that dude will always be George Constanza.
GREAT SUCCESS!!!

same goes for Kramer
that's all he had. He did the same schtick on "fridays" around 1980. He shouldn't have tried stand-up. couldn't take the heckling apparently.

Might want
to google "Michael Richards" "Andy Kaufman" and "Fridays."

This is all too reminiscent of something Richards did 25 years ago with Andy Kaufman.  Looked like a bit of Kaufmanesque performance art to me.  Might not be a real good career move, but he's got enough money that he probably doesn't care.

I sincerely hope...
that cubbiejulie doesn't kick your ass for posting a non-baseball diary on the same day that she did. You know she's very territorial...

So lemme get this straight. . .
not only did you post a NBD without my express written consent, you posted a NBD on the SAME subject that was included in the official NBD?

For shame.

(clap! clap!)

Off with your head!

Let's see.
Julie proposed beheading, you suggested a duel.

How 19th Century! Will there be powdered wigs?

Powdered wigs are sooo 18th Century.

Hey wouldn't it be fun
to see a lethal weapon/seinfeld merged extraveganza. Between the two of them, Mel Gibson doesn't like the jews (pretty much everyone except michael richards on seinfeld), and Michael Richards doesn't care for the blacks (danny glover).

I'm just saying, it would be an entertaining exercise in awkwardness.

Baby, you got a stew goin'
