Sunday Bears Diary

Today is a day to feel sorry for those of us in Wisconsin, because we have to watch the lowly matchup of the Bears and Lions rather than see our beloved Bears.

Consider this a plea for help if anyone has a slingbox or something, or any other means to help me watch the game. I have cable, so no sunday ticket, and i'm babysitting, so no going to the bar for the game. Your charity is welcome at chwtom AT hotmail dot com

Looks like tank will be inactive for this game. I though the Bears could overcome the Harris injury, as i think Tank is a poor-man's Tommy, and putting Scott in might help with the run D that's been struggling. Tank needs to get his head out of his ass.

I think this game game will be
a replica of the Bears-Jets game.  I expect the Bears to pitch a shut out only if Rex doesn't turn it over for a TD.

I'm thinking 17-0.

Sayonara Tank Johnson
What a total and utter scumbag.  Less than 48 hours after getting arrested for the third time in 18 months, for possession of guns and drugs in his house, he is out at a Chicago nightclub.  Nice father....guns in the home, gangsters living in the home, a parade of "girlfriends" in the home every night, a strip pole installed a door down from his children's bedroom

Take this lowlife garbage and get rid of him if you are the Chicago Bears.

Rommel, you magnificent bastard!! I READ YOUR BOOK!!

Wow
Out here in no football world we don't hear about all this crap. That's disappointing. In and of itself, I've maintained "Tank Johnson" was a great name for a Chicago Bear, much less just a football player. What a shame.

Sorry buddy
Need a play-by-play?

Hester hasn't returned anything for a TD yet. REx tossed a nice lob to Clark for a TD. Another nice pass to Clark, but he funbled and TB recovered.

Now they are saying Clark was down. Bears are challenging. Go Lovie.

I don't feel a bit sorry for you Tomas21
Throughout the '90s while the Pack was consistently going to the playoffs and beating the Bears like rented mules, I had to go to a bar or watch the miserable Bears on free tv. Also in the '90s, the nfl ticket was not so affordable. My suggestion to you is to get the ticket, or enjoy watching a Hall of Fame QB in the twilight of his career, something not seen in a Bears uniform by anyone still living.
Well, sometimes nothin is a real cool hand.

He's my fantasy QB. In the playoffs. They do everything they can to get him the artificially-enhanced all-time TD count and he can't even do that. I got 0 Net points out of him today. Putz. He'll have to come back next year just so he can get that record. Or maybe he won't. Or maybe he will. Who knows?

i had almost the exact opposite rosters in both leagues (in one league i have peyton manning, steven jackson, chester taylor, boldin and the bears d, and in the other league i play all those guys) and i'm going to lose both games. it took some kind of miracle perfect storm for me to lose both games, but i found a way to make it happen.
the worst part is i finished the regular season with the best record in both leagues, but both are winner take all, so i'll get nothing. stupid fantasy football.

My first year...
in a free league, I was in the championship game WITH the steeler's DST and in another league was in the third place game AGAINST the Steeler's DST. I was losing in the first, winning in the latter. I had a 7 point window they had to get to win both matchups. I did. I think I used up all my fantasy "luck" that first year.
