Predictions for 2007

I took this idea from a foxsports article that I was reading earlier.

In this post I would like to invite everybody to make there sports predictions for next year (bold predictions or not so bold predictions, whatever). Any sport. Then we can look back and see who was right in the end.

Here goes my bold predictions:

MLB:
The Cubs are neck and neck with the Astros for the Division but in the end win it out.

In the WS, the Cubs beat the Yankees in 6 games off a Soriano HR blast that makes all Yanks fans regret trading him, especially because AROD slumps the entire series.

WS - CUBS OVER YANKEES - 6 GAMES
WS MVP: Aramis Ramirez
WS WINNING PITCHER: Carlos Zambrano

NFL:
The Colts, after winning the Superbowl for the first time in Mannings career, repeat again in the 2007-2008 season. Yes, I know this means that I am predicting that the Colts will win the Super Bowl this season. And I stick to my story.

SUPER BOWL(2007-2008) - COLTS OVER PANTHERS-27-21

NBA:
This season: In a rematch of last year, the Mavs beat out the Heat. Wade gets injured in game 2, and the Heat struggle.

FINALS - MAVS OVER HEAT - 5 GAMES

next season:
The Cleveland Cavaliers, after a blockbuster trade that lands them Kevin Garnett, play the San Antonio Spurs in the finals.

The Combination of Lebron and Garnett proves to much for an older Spurs team. It goes seven games though.

FINALS - CAVS OVER SPURS - 7 GAMES

NCAA football:

The Vols win the SEC title. And the Wolverines come bace hungier than ever and go undefeated.

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: MICHIGAN OVER TENNESSE- 23-17

NCAA basketball:

UNC wins another championship over...who cares?

Well that's about the only sports that I really care about. But feel free to make predictions about ANY sport that you feel like.

Oh yeah and one last bold prediction:
Mark Prior wins at least 12 games next season.
