Out of Towners

I wonder just how many of the regulars here are not currently living in the greater Chicago area.  I'm a Chicago native who visits the city a couple of times a year (I still have a sister and a couple of cousins up there) but currently reside in Biloxi (what's left of it), MS.

Also, upon visiting the Cubs web site looking for tickets that will greatly influence my next trip up north, I find virtually nothing avaiable with the exception of the very corners of the upper deck in left field.  Are there every gameday tickets available at the box office and what about bleacher ticket availability?

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of SB Nation or Al Yellon, managing editor (unless it's a FanPost posted by Al). FanPost opinions are valued expressions of opinion by passionate and knowledgeable baseball fans.

You'll have a better chance at tickets
by checking this site rather than the Cubs.com site where there are very few seats left (togther, anyway).

I would agree....
... we'll keep posting tickets here, homestand by homestand.

There are already quite a few good seats posted here for the next homestand. Keep checking.

E mail me Luigi
I have  a fair number of extras for the whole season
particularly bleachers ( and my season seats) I try to give
a break to out of towners in particular. As long as you
you don't need White Sox, Tigers  I should be able to help
though Sat & Sundays are very tight
Anyway just e mail me and I am sure I can find yous something

As you can tell by my name . . . .
I am from Missouri.  I grew up in a small town in north central Missouri.  I started as a Cards fan (I was a huge Vince Coleman fan), but there were more Cubs games on TV, due to WGN, that I started loving the Cubs.  I also thought it was cool to be a Cubs fan because I have family that live in central IL, however I didn't really see that side of the family very often.  After I became a Cubs fan I became a fan of most of the major Chicago sports teams.  Somehow I ended up marrying someone from the Chicago area.  I still live in MO, but we visit the Chicago area several times a year now and always hit up a Cubs game.  Needless to say, all of my friends and family around here are Cards fans - I have a few friends that are Cubs fans, but not many.

Does Soriano's defense at 2B really cost more runs than in LF? He makes a lot fewer errors in LF since misplays and mental mistakes aren't figured into the stats, but I have to imagine that his mistakes are more physical at 2B. Any thoughts? Is there a statistic on this?
