post game time, what to do

Out of towner looking for suggestions on killing about 3 hours time after a cub game while waiting on transportation out of town.  Keep in mind that I'll be saucy (but not a drunken idiot) after the game.  Anything within a couple of blocks of any red line stop between Addision and downtown.  Suggestions?

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of SB Nation or Al Yellon, managing editor (unless it's a FanPost posted by Al). FanPost opinions are valued expressions of opinion by passionate and knowledgeable baseball fans.

My advice
Is to drink till you ARE a drunken idiot, then go try to hit 90 mph fastballs in the hitting cages upstairs @ Sluggers.  That's always good for a laugh, if not a bruise or two.

No matter where u go, if it's within a couple blocks of the park it'll be packed.

thats just it
I'm looking for options not necessarily near the park for a change.  I've spent many many many hours in the nearby bars... gets old.

I suggest
you get off at Grand and go to Rock Bottom. Great beer and food and one of the nicest pool rooms in town.

You could stay near the ballpark...
... and have dinner at Tuscany, corner of Waveland & Clark.
