Cheerleaders... In Baseball?

As if the immature hazing and vulgar catcalls didn't make the Reds classless enough, here come the Cincinnati Reds cheerleaders.

Bouncing out of the Reds bullpen and into center field, the latest Reds flirtation with debauchery were donned in what can only be described as Hooters uniforms dyed red -- shiny tights and all.

All the fans (over the age of 18) could do was tilt their heads and let out a collective - Huh???

It's as if the owners said, "Here's the last shred of purity that sports today have... what shall we do with it?  I know!  The perfect cheer!!"

This is the most pathetic attempt to save an already dead franchise that I have ever seen.  I naively thought that the Reds ownership and fans could not hit a new low.

They have truly outdone themselves.

Am I the only one that is appalled at the idea of cheerleaders in baseball?
