Cubs management seems content to wait things out. Wait for what? Are they planning on introducing a bunch of Derrek Lee clones once he returns? I can buy the fact that they don't want to fire Duhsty mid-season. But there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for keeping the hitting coaches employed. What are they doing specifically to help these numbers improve? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Any team with competent management would have jettisoned this regime long ago, but nooooooo, let's continue to blame all our problems on ONE injury, the sun, the fans, the field, the wind, the media... whatever isn't the actual managers, coaches, and players.

I blame Murton
Yeah
Home runs win games. That's why we won those championships the past two years.

The break
Ultimately, I still think everyone from MacPhail down should go, but surely Dusty doesn't want this whole season on his resume'? Are there any other cities besides Chicago and SF that he's fond of?
