Are we blind and utterly loyal?

Today the Des Moines paper ran this atricle http://desmoinesregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060613/SPORTS05/606130402/1003/SPORTS& lead=1 on Mark Prior and his pitching tonight for the Iowa Cubs. The article is a pretty good slam on Wood and Prior and their injuries and how we should unload them while the value is high.

The part of the article that bugged me was an add on dig that states.... when a North Sider loves you, he or she loves you for the rest of your Wrigley life...... Is that how we are perceived by outsiders? Also the article says we are blind to the roster. Again, is this how others view us?

Myself, I don't see this opinion and BCB is testament to the fact that while yes we are loyal, we do not blanket support players just because they are ours.

Read for yourself, discuss among yourselves. We aren't blind are we?
