According to Baseball Prospectus, Oliver Perez is on the trading block, as he is being removed from the rotation as soon as Kip Wells returns. Even though he has moved way backwards in his development after his stellar 2004 season, I wonder if the Cubs could pull off another Aramis Ramirez kind of deal with the Pirates. As bad as he's been, I'd still rather see Perez starting before Glendon Rusch. I would guess we could get the kid on the cheap, considering his awful '05-'06 seasons. What do you think?
