Bring in one of the minor league managers that's been successful with young player development, and get rid of Dusty. All he's going to do at this point is stunt their growth for the sake of a senseless and futile run at .500. Our hitting coach is teaching poor plate discipline, our pitching coach has squandered away the best throwing talent in baseball, and now our manager is going to bench one of our best young position players (if not our best young position player) for an "athlete" whose career OPS is below .700.
