The article lists many AAA Iowa Cubs THOUGHT to be on their way to Chicago that either busted or boomed. Pie is not tearing up the PCL as we all would expect our next center fielder to. Discuss.

Next, has there been a player who has gone on to win MVP honors that has spent major time on the DL? Pujols may this year but my question is ....What happens if DLee comes back and puts up monster numbers.....does he deserve to be MVP after missing two plus months? Discuss again.

Lastly, I was guilty of writing off Maddux last week. His first half struggles have been going on for the last few years......remember many Braves fans had him written off in June a few years back just to see him become the Maddux of old in the second half. Will the future hall of famer be able to mount a consistent second half and get to the 15 victory total he missed for the first time last year (he's 7-7 right now). As I've came to my senses (somewhat), I am wary of him bouncing back and proving all the  "Maddux is too old crowd" wrong. Will he or won't he? Further discussion needed, good for an off day!
