Derrek Lee's Return

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that D Lee is rushing his return.  I personally would rather see him slowly recover and make sure that his wrist is 100 percent healthy.  This season is just about over and I don't want to see D Lee hurt that wrist to a point where it would affect him even for the 2007 season.  As much as I want to see him in Cubbie Blue, it just isn't best for the team to rush back from his injury.

I agree
wholeheartedly. However there are a few guys who are going to lose their jobs if the Cubs don't pull off a long winning streak soon.

No
He's fine.  He's coming back at about what was predicted when he suffered the injury, and what is normal for this type of injury.  And remember, he didn't actually break his wrist bones, but rather his arm bones near to the wrist bones.  That's a much quicker recovery time than those nasty little wrist bones.

Thank you...
... for being the voice of reason here.

Remember, originally they were saying he'd be back for the Houston series on June 13. It's almost two weeks later and he's just now going on a rehab assignment, today and tomorrow.

This isn't "rushing" anything.

Well great
I look forward to him tearing it up as soon as he returns Monday.
