Sure, he's a nice hitter, but his d and game calling aren't considered good and he's a hot head. The Cubs need to change the chemistry, so someone like Barrett or ARam needs to go.
One team that could be in the market for a catcher is Philadelphia. Lieberthal's in the last year of his deal, and there's some rumors of Philly wanting to move Abreu. Maybe Barrett, Jones and one of Marshall, Guzman or Marmol does it???? Of course, I doubt this happens. The Trib/McFail are allergic to big money players. They'd rather divide that money amongst 3 average guys. Also, Barrett's one of Hendry's boys. Hendry's good at picking up guys on the cheap, but he's proving to be a stubborn ass so doubtful he'd move one of his finds..
