I listened to the game today, and I wasn't really impressed. Prior still needs time:
5 IP, 1ER, 3H, 0BB, 5K
*59 pitches, 42 for strikes
It looks like he's going to get the loss unless the Chiefs do something soon. He didn't throw many first pitch strikes, even though he did throw strikes. He was efficient, and after he was done he went to the bullpen to throw a little more. He reached 90 MPH a few times, but not very many. He was in the 86-89 MPH range. The run he gave up was because of back-to-back doubles, and the other hit he gave up was an infield hit. This was a lot better than last time, but his velocity still isn't there.
Keep working, Prior! Go Chiefs!
