C. B. Bucknor is a major league umpire, who has in the past had some run-ins with the Cubs, although yesterday as the plate umpire, he called a pretty consistent game.
Bill Buckner is a well-loved former Cub who won the batting title in 1980 (the last Cub to do so before Derrek Lee in 2005), and who was at Wrigley Field yesterday to throw out a ceremonial pitch and conduct the singing of "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" in the seventh inning.

Now seriously, how hard is this to get right? Are you telling me there's no one who works in the sports department at WGN today, who knows how to get the spelling of a well-known baseball name correct?
As someone who works in the TV biz, I can tell you that this sort of thing drives me nuts. But I thought you'd all be amused.
