Someone that we haven't talked about lately is Wade Miller.
When I was searching through the minor league stats I came across Wade Miller stats from Peoria. Are these from earlier in the season or is he finally starting his rehab assignment? Does anyone here think Miller will be a Cub next year?
On a side note, Augie Ojeda has pitched one scoreless inning for Iowa this year.

It looks like
I heard he won't be able to pitch this year bc he isn't able to get his velocity high enough. We don't really lose much by resigning him, might as well go ahead and do it.

Resign him, and see what he has in spring training.

Miller to pitch Monday in Peoria
Wade Miller (shoulder) will make his next Minor League rehab start on Monday for Class A Peoria, and is expected to throw 50-60 pitches. Does Miller still think he will pitch this season for the Cubs? "That's why I'm pitching in Peoria," he said. "I'm not doing it just so I can say I pitched in Peoria."
......
Also, newly acquired pitcher Joel Santo (from the Scott Williamson trade) is scheduled to pitch in relief following Miller's start on Monday. In other words, Monday will likely feature pitchers we'll never see pitching for the Chicago Cubs.
