Bruce Kimm weighs in; Rich Hill, let's try again.

This morning the Des Moines paper ran a great article on the thoughts of an interim manager and Bruce Kimm weighed with his own thoughts and troubles with the label. http://www.desmoinesregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060707/SPORTS1402/607070381/1003/SPORT S&lead=1
Up until two weeks ago I felt keeping Dusty was a safe move; now I believe he suffers from the Corey Patterson effect. Everybody boos, everybody wants him gone, we've pushed his faith in himself to the limit and Dusty is losing the battle. Too bad, because he was almost everyones choice after Bruce Kimm and look where he is now: managing Hendry's miserable mistakes. Dusty will bounce back and manage a winner and probably haunt us like a Bartman goat. We don't want an interim manager, read the article on Kimm and you'll see why.
Rich Hill, named to start the PCL all-star game, is due another chance just to see if he can make it and stay with the Cubs or trade him away. He has just been too good at AAA Iowa and our pitching has just been too bad to not give him another shot. He seems to have gotten the message about walks. And, reading between the lines I think he must have pissed off Rothchild and they could be holding a grudge. Read this article and discuss: http://www.desmoinesregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060707/SPORTS0301/60707002/1003/SPORTS
