Interesting article in today's trib by Paul Sullivan about a Sports Illustrated report that says Baker was offered an extension but turned it down. Baker vehemently denies this.
What I found most interesting about this article is that it reports Rothschild and Speir would be safe if Baker and his coaches (Clines, Pole, Matthews) were let go.
Rothschild safe? Why? I would hope he would be axed as well.
