Izturis and waivers.
Two-part diary from a guy who visits daily but doesn't post a lot.
One part of the diary is just a poll to get a true count (not just diary posts) on Cubs fans' feelings about the trade. Yes, the last option in the poll is my own personal opinion and doesn't necessarily fit - I know. ;-)
The second part is an open blog/inquiry. Humor me. Is it still within the realm of REALISM to believe that Hendry might have a few more trades ready to go using the post-deadline waiver-trade avenue? Any realistic ideas, BCB-ers?
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of SB Nation or Al Yellon, managing editor (unless it's a FanPost posted by Al). FanPost opinions are valued expressions of opinion by passionate and knowledgeable baseball fans.

especially the bulls. i swear they have top picks whenver there's a bunch of stacey kings instead of carmello/lebrons.
Wait until...
Red Sox
I could see the Cubs trading Blanco to the Red Sox for a mid level prospect or 2,nothing great, but they have a pretty solid farm system so I'd take it, although the idea of going without Varitek for a month may make them pretty desperate and they might give up something kinda good
