The mailbag run by Carrie Muskrat at cubs dot com is about the most inane thing ever.  It seems that she is the supreme Cubs apologist and that she will go along with anything that Andy, Jim or Dusty do as genius.  Here is what she said today about Cedeno...

When asked if the Cubs are going to go after a 2B since it is clear that Cedeno is either 1) not ready for the show or B) not a major league player she responded...
"I disagree. I think Cedeno is ready, and he's going through growing pains. He does like second, and he and Cesar Izturis could be a very solid middle infield combo. Cedeno is young, he has looked terrible at the plate this month and is not making adjustments. And some of his problems have carried over onto the field."

Now wouldn't the fact that he has not made adjustments, looked terrible at the plate and let it carry onto the field prove that he is either A) not ready for the show or 2)not a major league player.  They really need to get a real reporter to run that site.
