Chalk up another Washed up Cub going to Baltimore
http://netsports.baseball.com/default.asp?c=baseball&page=mlb/news/AAN4107968.htm
Wow, you would think that the Orioles have taken enough garbage off of our hands. This makes me really happy, and this means that all of Dusty's "favorites" are now gone. Coincidence? This proves that Dusty has no idea how to manage a team.

Never could understand
Orioles are a mess. Thats why Tejada would be a good chance, 31, has played in baseball "hell", for the last 4 years, he would find life in Chicago, this is my hunch.

Oops, I didn't see this diary - moved mine here.
My one time seeing Novoa in person was in the 11-run inning disaster to the Mets on July 16, 2006. Sean Marshall ran out of steam and the Cubs down 6-5, and Dusty thought that bringing in Novoa would stem the tide. Because of course you want to bring in the reliever with the habit of tossing up a 3-spot. Knowing better having seen Novoa make a mess on TV, I looked at my dad and said "game over."
Seven batters, five hits (including the second grand slam of the inning), six runs. But because there were two out and there had been an error early in the inning, the runs were unearned. Sure...
Anyway, via con dios, El Gasolino. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
