Brandon Webb smells fishy?

I was gunna come post this during the game. But did anyone else notice the drak spot on Webbs hat during the whole game. And the fact that he touched that same spot before every pitch.

Im not saying this is why the cubs lose and bla blah. Im just saying that it Honestly looked like he had pine tar or somthing on his hat. I know he has nasty pitches, but some of them looked freakish. Again Im not looking for a reason to blame some one else. Im just askin if anyone else saw this, and if it looked like anything more then just sweat

He's clean
He didn't cheat.  He just pitched exceptionally well.  It could be worse---- we could have lost to Beckett tonight.

This is why Lilly is our stopper.  We can be all worried tomorrow if we lose.

my bad
I'm sure he didn't. Im just saying I noticed the spot, and it was worth checking into. Or at least hearing your responses to see if anyone noticed it.

Kenny Rogers?
Just like last year in the World Series. Although it is technically against the rules, sometimes players are allowed to use a little bit of pine tar on their hats.

I noticed no such thing.
And you really do need to invest in spell check.
