Emotional protection: Berra's saying 'It's not over'

"'till its over". Is one of the most famous sayings in baseball because, one pitch, one error, one inning, one game can turn things around, because there is NO CLOCK!

I have been on the phone with so many, family members already throwing in the towel et cetera, but all the Cubs have to do is win a ball game. Sure if they lose it is over, but it is not over till its over. Sure the odds decrease but that is why we talk about those comebacks....

Back in '03 I was throwing in the towel in middle July and the curator of this blog site argued against me trading for the future, (selling) and held hope that the season then at .500 could be won. He was right.

So many are emotionally protecting themselves, being cynical as usual and I am not, I think the cubs will win. WHY...they are home, they have a better starter, matchups, anger, pride and TV conspiracy....The playoffs are all 2-0 or 0-2 no matter how you look at it. Lose today and the money tree ends.

Win today and then play tomorrow with the same chance of winning. Win today and win tomorrow then the season comes down to one game. Win today and everything changes....their confidence is hurt a bit, win today and the Cubs confidence improves....

Good luck, I will not be on this site for I will be up at the mountain home through the weekend so good luck and have one on me...
