No Need to have another Japanese player on the Cubs

Recently, a rumor was out there about the prospect of the Cubs signing Kaz Matsui to try to woo Japanese star Kouske Fukudome to the Cubs, to try and make him feel better in this country and have someone to talk to him etc etc.

We dont need this. Obviously because we have a servicable 2B canidate in Derosa, but also because we already have a player that speaks fluent Japanese....

Alfonso Soriano.

Now of course I am not saying that the whole notion of adding Matsui was because he's Japanese, but it is generally assumed here and on other sites that, the reason for adding him is because he's Japanese.
