Twins willing to trade Garza... offer Pie?

They have this over at MLBTraderumors.com

http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2007/11/twins-willing-t.html

and the story first appeared in the Star-Tribune: http://www.startribune.com/twins/story/1536123.html

MLBTR said that some of the names the Twins have dropped are Delmon Young, B.J. Upton, and Carlos Gomez.

I'm not sure Pie qualifies because they are looking for a big hitter and while Pie has that potential, his glove is defintley his strong suit right now.  They really need a CF with Hunter on the way out though and Pie's minor league numbers suggest he should be hitting at least .300 in the MLB.

So would you pull the trigger on Garza for Pie?

Here's a little more info on Garza:

Throws righty, hits mid-90s with his fastball, has a good slider, change, and curve.  Posted a 3.69ERA in 83IP with 32/67 BB/K ratio for the Twins in 2007.  Still only 23 years old.

I say do it in a heartbeat.  Zambrano, Lilly, Hill, Garza, and Marquis eaisly becomes the best rotation in the NL.  Marquis is a pitcher I feel more than confident throwing against other No. 5 pitchers so this solves more problems than just one.  Now our 2008 starting CF would be Jaque Jones, but we still managed to win the division in 2007 and getting Garza only makes the team stronger if you ask me.  Plus going forward, you still have Zambrano, Hill, and Garza all under 30 with the possibility of Gallagher and Samardizja becoming something too.

Enough from me, what do you guys think?
