In 2 huge trades this afternoon the Houston Astros landed Jose Valverde from the D-Backs and The Diamondbacks have acquired Dan Haren.
The D-backs acquired right-handers Dan Haren and Connor Robertson from the A's for about 6 prospects.
In addition, the D-backs sent closer Jose Valverde to the Astros in exchange for infielder Chris Burke and right-handers Chad Qualls and Juan Gutierrez.
Dispite this move for Houston, it seems as though they are still missing out on fixing thier Rotation, because after Oswalt it gets really ugly.
