Seemingly the folks in Cincinnati spent a lot of time on the Hall of Fame Website as both the much maligned Joe Morgan and the late Joe Nuxhall, along with Oakland's Bill King will be on the Frick ballot due to fan voting. They will join Tom Cheek, Ken Coleman, Dizzy Dean, Tony Kubek, Graham McNamee, Dave Niehaus and Dave Van Horne, all of whom were placed on the ballot by the Hall of Fame's research committee.
Nuxhall and Cheek seem like they'd garner a lot of support as both have passed away in recent years. If recent history is any indication, Dave Niehaus might be a good bet as he is very similar in many respects to Denny Matthews of the Royals, who won the award last year.
