Cubs TV Schedule Announced

Somehow, this flew under the radar -- late last week, the Cubs released the 2007 TV schedule. (link opens .pdf file) All 162 games will be televised -- somewhere -- but that doesn't mean YOU will get to see them, unless you live in metropolitan Chicago.

There will be 68 games on WGN, 72 on CSN, eight on WCIU, nine on Fox, and one on ESPN.

Yes, I know that adds up to only 158 games. There are four "TBD" Sunday games that may wind up on ESPN; if not, one of the other outlets will pick them up.

Both Opening Day in Cincinnati and the home opener on April 9 will be on WGN.
