Retrosheet notes
For those who care, I managed to help Dave Smith over at retrosheet.org get the redirects working for the player pages.
Old links used to look like this:
http://retrosheet.org/boxesetc/Pkoufs101.htm
http://retrosheet.org/boxesetc/Pmaddg002.htm
http://retrosheet.org/boxesetc/Pmurtm001.htm
and now they look like this:
http://retrosheet.org/boxesetc/K/Pkoufs101.htm
http://retrosheet.org/boxesetc/M/Pmaddg002.htm
http://retrosheet.org/boxesetc/M/Pmurtm001.htm
An interesting thing I learned - there are no players, managers, or umpires to ever have a last name that started with X. Every other letter is represented, however.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of SB Nation or Al Yellon, managing editor (unless it's a FanPost posted by Al). FanPost opinions are valued expressions of opinion by passionate and knowledgeable baseball fans.

The letter X.
Wish one of them had given him a cup of coffee callup, just ONE game so he'd have his name listed!
In any case, THANK YOU for helping out with Retrosheet. Thanks to you and Eric Simon, a SB Nation blogger, Retrosheet's links will always be forwarded to the right place.
