Around SBN: BTB's Final Preseason NCAA Hoops Bracket

Simulation Madness

The Cubs, seeded 4th in the NL half of the bracket have advanced all the way to the final four.  Their last victory was a 4 games to 3 triumph over the St Louis Cardinals.  Simulation Madness is an NCAA style tournament using a baseball simulation program that I wrote in Visual Basic 6.  Each series in the tournament is a best four out of seven series.  The Cubs will be facing the Mets in the final four and in the other half of the draw, the Twins will be facing the Red Sox.  For a look at the complete brackets, please go to.

Well, that's good.
How did you select the rosters to be used in this tournament?

Speaking of simulations....
....has anyone heard if MVP Baseball is going to have a 2007 game on PS2?  They didn't have one last year and I really like the 2005.
Here's to a new year!!

No
because the other company (2k/989 studios) has purchased the contract from MLBPA meaning no other game company can use player or team licensing information, which precludes any other company from making a viable competition.

EA has gone to making MVP College Baseball. .

That sucks...
...because I bought the 2K version and it is horrible.  First of all you have to listen to Joe Morgan, the players don't move as fluidly and I don't think their graphics are very good.  This sounds like a monopoly.
