The San Diego trib seems to indicate that Todd may be sent home before Spring Training. News to me that you can opt out of a player's arbitration with minimal penalty ($658k if released).
Not sure why Walker is so unattractive to teams. He wasn't a stellar infielder, but he seems better than other options out there for teams.
