Moniker Madness

This is my second foray into actually posting a an entry. The first time wasn't too successful using the search to see if anyone else had made a posting regarding the same subject matter. This time I am hoping (fingers crossed)that I've done my due diligence and properly used the search feature...

I came upon this game over at minorleague baseball that is in the spirit of "march madness."
The task, if you choose to play, is to vote for the best name in minor league baseball.

It's over here:

And...
... you can vote for the Cubs' own Rocky Cherry and Angel Pagan.

wow
I just went and voted. It'd be funny if our guys win but there is some tough competition.

Angel Pagan vs. Houston Summers.

I'm personally rooting for a championship matchup of......

Jorge Poo Tang vs Matthew Manship.

Awesome!
Wow, it really is remarkable how many minor league baseball players have truly f**ked up names.

Naturally, I voted for both Rocky Cherry and Angel Pagan. Rocky has a pretty big lead but Angel is currently trailing to that cut-rate hack Houston Summers (who is, I'm sure, a "hot" hitter).

For the record, I did NOT vote for Boof Bonser, because: a) He beat the Cubs last season, and b) I happen to know "Boof" is not his given name and I personally think it should be illegal to change one's name to "Boof" or anything of the like.

I'm hoping the finale comes down to Rocky Cherry vs. Boodle "the Poodle" Clark. Obviously, Rocky will whup that whiny bitch's ass.

I didn't have the ball, bitch!
