McFarlane Cubs Action Figures

http://www.spawn.com/toys/product.aspx?product=3190

McFarlane is releasing a 3-Pack of Cubs action figures. Maddux in 2006 home pinstripes, Zambrano in the blue jersey, and Lee in 2007 Pinstripes.

Those are some really good looking Toys. I don't follow the whole MLB action figure thing so I had no idea they got that detailed.

Notice Maddux doesn't have his last name on his jersey but Lee does. These guys really get the details.

The McFarlane's........
are awesome. McFarlane has released alot of Cub figures. I have both Prior's and the Aramis, there's  also a couple of Wood and Sammy figures and a Nomar.

That 3 pack is cool, its worth getting just for the Zambrano. The Lee figure is the same as the one that came out last year but just in a different uni(they messed up by keeping the away hat on him), I'm not a big fan of the pose they put him in.

His right leg is attached in the pictures........
and I've seen the figure before, but I never really looked at it in detail......its possible that the legs are not attached when its still in the box. I'd bet that because of the pose he's in that's the case.

I guess a popular thing to do.......
is for people to create their own "custom" McFarlane figures. A few months back I bought a Walter Payton and a Brian Urlacher variant figure where he's in the all navy uniform, and when I got home I searched around to try and see what other variant figures were out there and I came across like 10 or 11 sites where people were making their own figures. I saw a few Jordan's that people had made but there isn't an official figure.

Any Argument, sufficiently argued in an intelligent manner, is correct.

Only a passing resemblance
For as detailed as they are with the veins in the arms etc... it's a little weird that their facial features don't resemble them that much,  Maddux especially.
