Giving blood for the Bulls

So I gave blood in Hoboken a few weeks ago, and they were giving out free Nj Nets tickets. Having never been to a game, I was mildly interested, and today my ticks came and it turns out its the bulls game!

sweet! It even has playoff implications! And i'd thought it be the bobcats or something.

So I haven't followed the team real well in about.. eight years? Aside from Ben Wallace, anyone I should root for? I hate Jason Kidd, so those cheers are covered.

I don't follow the Bulls
(Go Spurs Go!)

But Kirk Hinrich (sp?) is no joke.  Helluva player.

Go Nebraska Football!

Well
The Bulls do have a solid young player in Tyrus Thomas, a very solid scoring SF in Luol Deng, and a fiesty two guard in Ben Gordon.

The Bulls would have been this good with Tyson Chandler in the lineup.. I'm not a fan of Wallace.

For more Bulls info
Check out fellow SB Nation site http://www.blogabull.com.

I've followed the team "through thick and thin," to quote that atrocious marketing campaign the Bulls trotted out when they were absolutely horrible.  If they can catch the Cavs for the second spot in the East I think they have a great shot at making it at least through the first round, and perhaps to the Eastern Conference Finals this year.

Root for Ben Gordon and/or Luol Deng to have a hot shooting night, root for Captain Kirk Hinrich, plan to see at least one huge block or dunk by Tyrus Thomas that makes you jump out of your seat, and prepare to cringe when they throw Chris Duhon on the court.

perfect
I just needed the cliffs notes version. How bad are seats in the upper deck behind a hoop?
Not that kind of north side.

The Bulls
The Bulls are on their way back.  Probably a good offseason away from serious title contention but they're on the way back.

I'm one of the 3 people who went to games back in the 70s when if you'd call and ask what time the game started they'd answer "What time can you get here? We'll wait!"

God was the Chicago sports landscape a heckhole in the mid to late 70s.

For Cub fans spring training combines the eternal hope of spring with the irrational belief in the impossible.
