Katy, Bar the Door, There's a Meltdown Coming....

Feel it? Feel it in the air? First my knee started acting up, and I thought it might just be the weather, but no, it is bright and sunny out here in California. Then, last night, just before bed, I kind of got an uneasy stomach. Couldn't have been the meal. Nothing to angry up the blood there. But I couldn't quite put my foot on it.

Then, today, I looked at the box score from yesterday's game and it became clear. A low pressure system seems have moved south from Milwaukee and is sitting over the North Side of Chicago. Today's performance is only strengthening it. The reverberations of impending meltdown of Hurricane Lou are going to be felt throughout the Cubs Nation.  I haven't felt this uneasy since Hurricane Camille in 1969.
